Seward Alaska Elopement at Kenai Lake Cabin
Travis and June’s Seward Alaska elopement was super intimate and such a lakeside dream. It was a rainy spring day in May which is pretty typical for Seward. Honestly though, it made the entire vibe of the day that much more romantic! Every detail of this elopement was super intentional and very personal to who Travis and June are. There’s nothing better when the bride and groom stay true to themselves in the planning of their wedding day.
The couple chose an Airbnb, The Cabins at Kenai Lake, to host their wedding day and it was an excellent choice. All of their friends and family stayed at the lake leading up to their day. You could see the love and intentionality from Travis and June all throughout. One of my absolute favorite moments of the elopement was when the two exchanged private vows alone on a dock before the ceremony began. The photos of them on the dock with the green and blue lake surrounding them are “chef’s kiss”. The intimate ceremony included their closest family and friends overlooking the lake from the shoreline. Following, they had a romantic dinner on the porch of the cabin celebrating with their loved ones. The cozy night concluded with a fire and many cheers.

KENAI LAKE, A DREAM ELOPEMENT DESTINATION
Kenai Lake is a destination location for people from all over, but is especially a favorite of Alaskans. The lake was formed from glacier water and has a blue and green majestic tone. It is a stunning spot for activities like fishing and kayaking, but imagine exchanging vows by the shores of this glacially fed water. An elopement here is straight out of a dream.
