Adventurous Lake George Alaska Elopement
This adventurous Lake George Alaska Elopement was nothing short of perfection. It was a photographer’s dream working with Jamie and Will. Jamie reached out to me in October of 2020 looking to book an elopement. This one was fun because they let me help plan what they should do for their day and which stops that I thought would be worth going to. I absolutely love when a couple trusts me with portions of planning their day. We were able to really customize the stops we went to and get a lot of variety in their gallery. The whole day was located in different locations of the Girdwood, Alaska area at Lake George and the Knik Glacier.
Instead of one stop, we were able to start the day by heading to Lake George, where they pumped up their pack raft and read private vows to each other. I think it was the most romantic thing and my favorite moment of the day. For the next stop, we headed to an alpine location where they had their picnic and champagne toast, afterwards we went over to the glacier wall where they said their official “I do’s”. For the finale, our last stop was another alpine location with stunning fall foliage and we took in the last little bit of our day. Jamie planned the picnic all on her own and taught herself how to make a charcuterie board for their day. I am not sure if I can think of a dreamier elopement! It was truly the best day.
ADVENTUROUS ELOPEMENT DETAILS
We worked with some incredible vendors on this day. Alpine Air is one of the best transportation services that offers helicopter rentals for our adventurous sessions. We always feel safe moving from each location to the next. Classy Elegant Events helped make the elopement picnic so simple and easy for us, as well as the convenience of packing up supplies for the helicopter rides. Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop proved the cutest cake and it was the perfect size for two! All the details came together seamlessly and I am always honored to work alongside these amazing people.

Zoya was our photographer for our elopement and did a phenomenal job. She is very personable and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She got back to us with the ‘sneak peak’ pictures exceptionally fast and they look INCREDIBLE. We recommend her to everyone.
